What the hell is a prototyping swiss kit?

Well, it is a collection of various UI components I have made over many years for prototyping various games. I am making it freely available under the Creative Commons 4.0 Attribution License

So, if you use it in actual production, please give credit to me and a link back to this page

What does it include?

It ranges from very simple to very complete UI concepts. It covers many areas from Sci-Fi to Fantasy to RPGs.

It contains the following folder structure:

Some of the items include their PSD or AI files. I lost quite a few of the original PSD files over the years, or hid them from myself and I can't find them.

Backgrounds Folder

* Includes original PSD

* Includes a folder of it slightly animated (bganimation)

Clouds Folder

* Includes original layered PSD with all 3 as well. Hand drawn, so one layer per cloud...

Cursors

* the blue and yellow cursors have their original PSD files included.

Grunge Backgrounds Folder

* corner piece to go with the backgrounds

* many color variations + 2 other subtle variations on the above

Health Bars Folder

* Includes PSD for all

Icons Folder

* Plus another variation on 3 medals

* + a few other various sci fi galaxy type things...

Icons/Extra Folder

* animated flower loading symbol...

Icons/RpgItems Folder

* components separated into individual images + original PSD

Pixel Folder

* for best results use Nearest Neighbor filtering, rather than bilinear or trilinear.

SkinHairPalettes Folder

UI Concepts Folder

* layered PSD included, will need to export out the red / circle part from the rest of the border area. It is grayscale to allow in engine coloring / effects.

* layered PSD included. Some of them are already broken out into individual images in concept1 pngs folder.

* layered PSD included. Primarily meant as a visual reference guide for implementation via HTML/CSS/Javascript. Not broken into components currently.
